Since being elected as your Member of Parliament, I have been contacted by a number of residents in your area about traffic on Bolton Road and Ainsworth Road, with particular focus on the approach to Bury Bridge and the bus lane that is in place there.
In partnership with your local councillors; Cllr Dene Vernon, Cllr Jordan Lewis and Cllr Jackie Harris, we would now like to take the opportunity to gather your views on some different aspects of the traffic problems and what measures can be taken to address this. For residents of the area such as yourself, traffic can have a major impact on your daily lives. Adding a great deal of stress and inconvenience to many tasks and taking away time that could be spent with your loved ones.
