Local park dedicated to George Stanley Peachment VC

James Daly - Peachment VC

It was an honour to join the Service of Dedication in honour of Rifleman George Stanley Peachment VC at Town Meadow Park in Tottington.

So moving to have both the descendants of Rifleman Peachment and the descendants of Captain Dubs, his Company Commander who he sacrificed himself to save on 25th September 1915.

A really special service for a truly inspiring individual.
