For 14 years the Kids Count Inspiration Awards have been hosted in the House of Commons, and this year the awards will take place at 7.30pm on Monday 6th December 2021.
Kids Count is a grass-roots organisation aiming to find practical solutions to the broad spectrum of issues that affect children and young people in urban and rural communities.
The aim of the awards is to recognise those individuals and organisations that have quite literally inspired young people in their communities.
These special awards give MPs the opportunity to highlight outstanding work in their constituency and to demonstrate their commitment and support for young people, the Police and the third sector.
This year they are adding a new category to recognise the significant contribution the Police make in changing the lives of young people around the UK.
"Inspire the House" Award categories are as follows:
Inspirational Young Person
Inspirational Community Organisation
Inspirational Police Officer/s
Is there an inspirational young person in our constituency that you would like to nominate? Or perhaps a community group that has excelled and really made a difference to the lives of residents?
Below you can nominate your choices for each of the categories. If you don't want to nominate anyone for a particular category then please just leave it blank.
If your nomination is shortlisted then you will be contacted to provide more information and contact details of the person/group nominated. Nominations will close on 23/09/2021 at 15:00.
