I spoke to BBC News regarding the new measures facing Bury, Ramsbottom & Tottington.

I discussed how this is not the time to play the blame game or party politics and how it is now time for the council to work with me and the Government to ensure we receive our share of the £82m finance package at the earliest opportunity.

I also highlighted that as a result of lobbying from myself and the MP for Bury South, Christian, we would be receiving further Government money this week.
