This evening, Bury's Labour Cabinet voted to endorse the Greater Manchester Spatial Framework (GMSF)
Cabinet members were asked this evening to vote on the plans to take the Greater Manchester Spatial Framework to a full council meeting and the Labour cabinet unanimously approved.
Since I was elected as a Councillor in 2012 and now as a Member of Parliament, I have always opposed development on our precious Green Belt! There's still time to fight, but the clock is ticking!
- I want to see our Green Belt protected across Bury, Ramsbottom and Tottington - not turned into 1,250 or 3,500 unit housing developments.
- I want to see Brownfield sites regenerated to build new houses instead.
- I want to see us build back better, not destroy the communities and places that we love
Back my campaign, along with the Bury Conservative Councillors, to reject and oppose Labour's GMSF!
