He briefed me on a number of pressing policing issues in Bury including vehicle thefts, domestic violence, burglary and antisocial behaviour.
We also discussed the response to the appalling attack on a local taxi driver last week which, following diligent investigation by local officers, has led to a suspect being arrested.
