The Global Asylum system is broken. There are a range of safe and legal routes for individuals to come to the UK but people are using evil people smugglers to get to the UK illegally via dangerous routes. Already this year, 10,000 have crossed.
While others criticise but offer no alternative, we are acting to save people from drowning and to put people smuggling gangs, who use their profits for evil, out of business.
