This morning I highlighted to Parliament the unfair practices that pub company Stonegate are using against The Major in Ramsbottom and requested that time be made available for a debate on the issue in Parliament.
I will be working alongside Dave Mountford from the Forum of British Pubs and Sam and Christian at The Major to continue the fight to keep them in their pub and to bring the issues facing them, and landlords across the country, into the spotlight.
From when The Major reopens tomorrow there will also be a Parliamentary Petition that people can sign in support of Sam and Christian. This petition can only be signed in person and will be kept behind the bar at the pub and I would encourage as many people as possible to sign this.
