Today I spoke in the Westminster Hall debate on animal welfare. I have today focussed on the cropping of dogs ears and also the Gizmo's Law part of my Private Members Bill.
Ear cropping is a truly abhorrent practice that has been illegal in the UK for over 100 years. Unfortunately, this practice is not banned on imported dogs which leads to concerning numbers of dogs being victim to this mutilation.
