In Bury we have not had a local plan for housing since 1997
Yesterday (21st June) I spoke in the Opposition Day Debate in Parliament on the issue of planning.
I used my time to call on Bury's Labour Council to withdraw from the GMSF / Places for Everyone and put in place a local plan that protects the hugely important greenbelt in our area.
I also mentioned the fantastic work done by Bury folk Keep It Green
