It was great to welcome the brilliant Maeve to Westminster today to discuss and raise awareness of Developmental Language Disorder (DLD).
On average 2 children in every classroom will have DLD but it can often go undiagnosed.
It is a condition where children have problems understanding and/or using spoken language.
While here, Maeve spoke with Minister for Children and Families, Will Quince MP about the steps needed to support those with DLD.
She is a truly remarkable person and I’d like to thank her, her mum and the teachers at Guradian Angels for the fantastic campaigning they do on this issue.
