These are the latest figures for COVID cases in Greater Manchester. The rate for the Greater Manchester area has now dropped to 193.2 for the week ending 27/11/2020 which is excellent progress when compared to the shocking numbers that we were seeing just a few weeks ago. However, Bury does still remain slightly higher at 219.4 so we must all come together and stick to the rules so that we are in the best position possible when the tiers are reviewed in the coming weeks.
In other COVID news, new safety measures are due to be rolled-out on the metrolink in the coming days including extra cleaning and dedicated 'trambassadors' on the network who will speak to customers about the latest safety measures and hand-out free face coverings & hand sanitisers.
