Our armed forces are heroes that give up so much to protect our nation and it's people, they deserve to be supported as we come to the Integrated Defence Review.
Today I spoke in Parliament to ask that Ministers ensure that they continue to consult with members of the armed forces on these decisions that will have such a massive impact on our future armed forces.
Current and former serving personnel are what make our armed forces the amazing institution that they are.

Bury is a town that has such close ties to the armed forces as the historic home of the Lancashire Fusiliers and it was fantastic to hear about all the fantastic work that reserve and cadet units do across our region.
