Today the Government announced a major £1.4 billion investment to boost our education recovery, which includes:
£1 billion to support up to 6 million, 15 hour tutoring courses
£253 million to support training for 500,000 teachers
£153 million for evidence-based professional development for early year practitioners
Young people have worked incredibly hard to adapt to learning during the pandemic but we must invest to make sure that they have the best possible chances going forward.
