It was a true honour to attend the service of remembrance and lay a wreath in Bury this morning.
Great to see so many veterans and members of the public from across our town coming together in the shadow of Bury Parish Church to remember the sacrifice of those who have served our nation.
I then went up to Tottington for another incredibly moving service as I joined the remembrance parade and service to lay a wreath in the town.
Thank you to the Reverend Hugh Bearn and parade marshall Owen Dykes for their efforts in bringing us together to honour our armed forces.
