This week is dementia action week. In the UK there is estimated to be over 850,000 people living with dementia of which 841 live in Bury North.

Dementia, a disease still so little understood by so many, is set to affect a record number of people according to the latest consensus. Whilst the outlook for dementia sufferers, present and future, is challenging there is light at the end of the tunnel.
