In January 2022, it was confirmed by the NHS that Bury had the lowest percentage of face-to-face GP appointments in the entirety of England, with only 37% of appointments being in person.
Other towns in our area, and across the country, have managed to open up access to services. But in Bury, we face long waiting times, a lack of face-to-face appointments and no plan to make it better.
We are working hard to ensure you have the GP services that you deserve, but we need your help. Sign this petition and let the local CCG and Labour council know they need a clear plan to return to face-to-face appointments and bring down waiting times. We cannot continue as things are.
So register your support, and join the campaign to return to face-to-face GP appointments.
